I like the concept, but it needs to be phrased more concisely to make an effective theme.

Gray areas?
Moral ambiguity?
Moral quandaries?

So often I find that there are a rainbow of good things to choose from. Looking at it as black, white, and gray is often a bad metaphor because there's lots of "whites" as well as lots of "muddies" (and probably lots of "blacks" too...)

Well, for instance, we're all taught that our nation is good, and maybe it is, but our government does so much evil in the name of good.

So yeah, moral ambiguity. Because in truth, very few people are truly good or evil.
