Ooo ... blackberries

Today I picked a handful of blackberries. There are a few more yet to ripen, so with a little luck, I should get enough to make one batch of ice cream.

The mulberries are still going strong. The rose hips are ripening too; I just picked a bag of those for stonetalker.

Use the recipe I posted for black raspberries:

It will work for most soft fruits, especially dark berries.

If I can remember to do it this time, I'll add some kind of spice -- probably 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of clove or Saigon cinnamon.
