That is pretty.

My favorite is the second one, with the orchids and the lace fans.
Annnd now I have a mental image of a cake Genie...nice cakes though.
However, the intro above the first cake does not actually SCAN to "House of the Rising Sun"...
I am in total awe of the amount of time these cakes took to decorate....

The half-and-half one keeps drawing me back for a closer look. First, I don't quite get the reasoning behind it; second, are those ropes actually made out of icing, and if so, WOW.

"Technicolor ends here." If I'd made it, I'd be commenting on the ephemeral and subjective nature of reality; how what we bring to it is what paints in the details.

I would suspect fondant, an edible sculptural material. Some folks prefer marzipan, though, and a few do sculpt in icing beyond roses and such.
