Had to google it, but yes, it would make for a very interesting poem. :D

Of course I couldn't resist pairing Maxwell's Demon with Schrodinger. "For Life's Sake" describes how they reduce entropy and prolong life by manipulating probability. You just never know when a cat sleeping in a sunbeam is secretly saving the world.

Poem

The idea of demons in the Steamsmith setting led to
the poem "The Seven Fatal Malfunctions." It explores the seven deadly sins in free verse, with attention to how they cause problems in alchemy. So it's another example of philosophical demons -- but mixed with this science, they can have very physical effects.
