Thanks for sharing. I wish the neo-conservatives would resist the smokescreening about this. Photo ID's won't keep people from voting in the names of the deceased relatives and house pets of people they don't know. (I posted something about this..."The Cats Don't Vote" at priscillaking.blogspot.com.) Nor, to be fair, is race prejudice the primary danger. It's prejudice based on more subtle and realistic things, like past voting history, that's in danger of being sneaked in as the secrecy of the ballot is eroded.
