 So this guy can echolocate.  

I'm impressed.  I can do it, but not very well.  I've also encountered the tendency of humans to freak the fuck out if anyone uses nonhuman senses around them.  I so don't care.  If you can access other than ordinary senses in a way that usefully expands your awareness of the world, do it.

Oh, and buried in that eight-page article: he's asexual.  No interest in having a boyfriend or girlfriend.  Cool.

People also freak the fuck out if you tell them your visual spectrum differs from theirs... I see into the far-red/infra-red region, my wife sees UV..and my daughter lucked out and got both mutations. Makes agreeing on the colour of things a pain though!

Daughter's asexual too.. really no big deal. It's like any other orientation, nobody's business but hers.
I saw that link text yesterday and read it correctly.

This morning I read it as "This guy can chocolate".

I obviously need a bit more caffeine this morning.
