Afros: A Celebration of Natural Hair

 The crowdfunding campaign met its goal and closed, but you can still read about it and look forward to the book.  I am really pleased to see people appreciating natural hair in all its nappy glory.  If you have the kind of hair that breaks combs, or you just love diversity, check this out.

Thanks for the tip on this project. I think crowdfunding is a very powerful way to produce things that people want but that aren't mainstream or are somehow controversial. It's doing wonders to break the publishing bottleneck. So I'm really happy to boost the signal for projects I like.
