Poem: "the cup of changes"

This poem is spillover from the April 3, 2012 Poetry Fishbowl.  It was inspired by discussions with siege and kelkyag following the poem "lacquerware," as a continuation of the Lacquerware series.  Edopunk science fiction, bring it on!  It has been sponsored by zianuray.  You can read more about the original I Ching and this hexagram online.  The tanka form is native to Japan.
