I don't think it makes you a bad person. I think it makes you thoughtful person.

Thomas is one of my favorite characters in the Bible. I like the fact that he thinks and questions and experiments. He thinks like a scientist. He believes in applying empirical process to religion. He doesn't believe wildly implausible things just because somebody says to; he wants to check it out himself. And the fact that a lot of people -- except for Jesus himself -- mock Thomas for that makes me think that the Christian religion is wretched. Jesus, he was okay with it. But then his tolerances are way off the mortal scale to begin with.
