Blog Feed

A friend of mine who uses Safari as a browser says that if a page has an RSS feed, there's an icon on the right side of the URL bar . . . click on it, and it takes you to the feed, which you can bookmark. This is the feed it gave for "The Wordsmith's Forge:"

I wonder if there's a way to turn one's flist into a feed? For example, http://moosl.livejournal.com/friends/.
Actually if you use the (now free) rss readers available at Newsgator, you can read each friend's journal as a feed. It's the only reader I've found that works to save the password so you can see protected feeds. As a bonus, it syncs which articles have been read between all my computers (Macs and PCs) so I always know where I am!
I'll check it out, thanx.
