I'd love to participate but I don't have any journalistic resume, barely a CV. They want me to have writer's/author's credentials. Me, I was "just there as a fan", doesn't that count?
What you need to do is get someone WITH credentials to interview you as a Primary Source.
I've boosted this signal over on the Filk group; that bullet-point about "popular culture and parody" could easily encompass ST filks, and there are a couple of credentialed academics among the filkers that I know read that blog.
