Education Charity

This is so cool! There's a website called DonorsChoose that organizes classroom projects in need of funding. Teachers describe a project, its goals, its necessary materials, and the projected cost. Donors can choose which ones they want to support. You can search by keyword, cost range, school location, poverty rating, etc. If you're interested in education, and you think that lack of funds is undercutting the classroom experience ... here is a way to help immediately and directly.

beautiful. I saw another website where you can help fun small businesses. As soon as I start generating income, I will definitely contribute! :)
Reference, please, if you can find it again? Microfinance is an important business sector, and it's having some upheavals right now because Big Business figured out there's money to be made. So I'm helping spread the word about more traditional versions aimed at helping poor people rather than making huge wads of cash. (Moneygrubbers can ruin any industry.)
