Impeach Bush!

Rep. (Dem-Ohio) Dennis Kucinich is currently reading his articles of impeachment against President Bush ... all 35 points of them. I can hardly wait to see a summary of those. I was watching him live on CSPAN for a while, but it's long and I've got stuff I need to finish tonight. So I've left the office door open with the TV on, and I'll catch up in text later. Related article is here.

Gods bless Dennis Kucinich for having the balls to call a spade a spade. It's nice to know somebody in Washington, D.C. actually read, understood, and intends to protect the Constitution.

I was so disappointed when Kucinich dropped out of the presidential race--he'd been my first choice. Ah, well--nice to know he's still active despite it.
He was my first choice too. Clearly he knows a great deal about what's wrong with the world, and how to fix it.

No wonder nobody likes him.
What really disgusts me was seeing that Nancy Pelosi tried to avoid the subject by saying the topic of impeachment is not on the table or whatever. Stupid wimps. Good to know at least one Democrat still has some balls to stand up to the Republicans.
My inner chauvinist has some colorful things to say about Pelosi that I will decline to type, merely agreeing that she has drastically failed to do her job and that Kucinich is awesome.
I would personally like to see the lot of them arrested and tried of High Treason & Mass Murder... but that's just me.
Yes, that seems apt.

It probably is. But at least when we're sitting in the foyer-ever-after, some of us will be able to scream at Bush, "I TOLD YOU SO!!!"
Agreed--but it's never too late for Congress, or the rest of us, to stand up for having a President who must follow the laws rather than a King who is above them. Better to (re)establish this principle late than never.
he's got less than half a year left. Shouldn't he have done this six years ago?

Seems like he's doing it just to say he did it, not for any sort of meaningful effect.

Much earlier would have been much better, but I feel, better late than never. If nothing else, the articles comprise a lovely case of ammunition for the election process.
yeah, I gotta ask -- what's the point of this?
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! YAY KUCINICH! *Dances* Impeach Cheney, too, while you're at it!
Indeed, Cheney's name came up quite often; I wouldn't be surprised if separate articles of impeachment later target him. He's involved in most of Bush's crimes, although he probably has a few that he kept for himself too.
