Diane Duane Needs Help

One of my writer-friends, Diane Duane, found out that someone got into her bank account and removed all the money. The bank will ... eventually, supposedly ... restore funds lost due to fraud. But right now the household is without funds to pay bills or buy necessities.  She is the author of the Young Wizards series and many other books that I adore.

You can help by:

Stupid Paddies - they used it for the toll on the M50 ring road around Dublin which records your car reg details on the camera. So they'll get caught PDQ, and good enough for 'em.

That reminds me, have to check if I paid MY toll fee on the same road - for which I used my own credit card, thank you very much :)

That just blows! I suspect that she used her debit card in a scanner that was hacked. >_

I really appreciate this. I feel bad when I can't chip in for such occasions. If I can reach someone who does have a bit to spare, then I feel like I've done my part.
