Also traditionally the tools of spinning, weaving and sewing..

But what about harvesting, preserving, tanning, curing? Could you imagine a scraper that takes all the flesh off a skin in one pass -- used as the blade of a sword or small axe, or other weapon?

Or heck, why not on its own as a useful thing for a wandering adventurer to have?

What other tools -- a jar that preserves anything! Of course! Is it made of clay or glass? Does it matter?

This is beginning to sound like a Path of the Paladins poem to me, if useful items to wandering adventurers are involved. *muses* Although I could see this as a Fiorenza poem, too. What practical, hard-working villager wouldn't want a jar that could preserve anything? :)

I stacked together a whole bunch of prompts from this thread to get the free-verse poem "Grit and Grace." Ari is making breakfast while Shahana is out gathering more firewood ... when two bandits barge into the camp.
