A Cube of Gears

I looked at this thing and thought: wow, it's a steampunk tesseract.  Which it isn't, quite, but some of the concepts are similar.

Ooh, I saw a video about the 3D printer that "printed" the gear cube some time ago. I thought it was fascinating then, and now even more so. The potential applications for this technology could be very intriguing.

Here's a vid demo of the 3D printer printing a ball bearing. There are a lot of interesting videos on YouTube to sift through regarding this technology, actually.
That is way wicked! :D
