I find that science makes life more magical, not less. And from a magical standpoint, it makes your spellcraft stronger; whereas magic is ideal for explaining the parts of science that are otherly logical.

There was a wonderful line from the novel Fallen Angels in which several fans were discussing the prismatic effects of breath in very cold air: "I think a cloud of microscopic ice crystals is as magical as an unexplained rainbow any day."
