Coping Skills: Gratitude

Folks have mentioned an interest in questions and conversations that make them think. So I've decided to offer more of those. This is the current list of coping skills.

Cognitive (Of the Mind)

1. Make a gratitude list.

A list or journal helps you appreciate the good things you have, rather than focusing on lacks or problems.

Birdfeeding

Today is sunny and mild.  We got a good bit of rain last night.

I fed the birds.  I've seen house finches and a squirrel. 

I gathered butterfly milkweed seeds and planted them around the barrel garden.

EDIT 9/9/21 -- I gathered butterfly milkweed seeds and planted them in the wildflower garden.  There more seeds are ripening: blackberry lily, partridge pea, yellow coneflower, and purple coneflower.

EDIT 9/9/21 -- I cleared the daffodil bed by the driveway.
