Poem: "The One Thing That We All Have in Common"

This poem is spillover from the February 2, 2021 Poetry Fishbowl. It was inspired by prompts from [personal profile] ng_moonmoth and Anonymous. It also fills the "Daffodil - Regard" square in my 2-1-21 "The Language of Flowers" card for the Valentines Bingo fest. This poem has been sponsored by Anthony & Shirley Barrette. It belongs to the Shiv thread of the Polychrome Heroics series. (There's a whole arc about Shiv and the Omaha reservation that I've barely touched on as yet.)

Harp Guitar

This video discusses the evolution of the harp guitar and includes music samples.  Very pretty.

I couldn't help noticing that it would be easier to play with 3-4 four arms, though it can be made to work with only 2 arms.  Ideally, you'd play the guitar part with upper right and lower left arms, treble harp with lower right and bass harp with upper left.

Community Building Tip: YIMBY

For my current set of tips, I'm using the list "101 Small Ways You Can Improve Your City.

61. Start a YIMBY group. Across the country, pro-development, pro-housing fans are organizing against NIMBYs with unified YIMBY—that’s "Yes In My Backyard"—movements. Head to a YIMBY conference for new ideas.

This is a good approach for things like neighborhood diversification, small-scale shelters done as sharehouses, incremental density increases, small business incubation, bike facilities, etc.
