January 24th, 2021



Today is cool and relatively calm, mostly cloudy.

I fed the birds.  Earlier I saw a large flock of sparrows under the feeders and a couple of squirrels in the hedge along the south lot.  A few cardinals were flying around when I went outside.  

I walked around the yard and startled several more birds.

Poetry Fishbowl Report for January 5, 2021

This month's theme was "Short Forms." I wrote from 12:45 PM to 6 AM, so about 15 hours 15 minutes allowing for lunch and supper breaks. I wrote 13+ poems on Tuesday, although it took longer to fill out the Astronomy Haiku.

Participation was down, with 17 comments on LiveJournal and another 22 on Dreamwidth. A total of 14 people sent prompts, also down.
