Poem: "Signs of Their Trespass"

This poem is spillover from the September 1, 2020 Poetry Fishbowl. It was inspired by prompts from [personal profile] technoshaman and [personal profile] readera. It also fills the "good jobs for disabled people" square in my 9-1-20 card for the I Want Fries With That! Bingo fest. This poem has been sponsored by Anthony & Shirley Barrette. It belongs to the Frankenstein's Family series.

Warning: This poem contains intense topics including canon-typical violence. Highlight to read the warnings, some of which are spoilers. It includes poachers, arrow wounds, messy medical details, the mazil's justice, corporal punishment, threats of maiming and death, and other challenges. Please consider your tastes and headspace before reading onward.

Poetry Fishbowl Update

The pool has closed and sponsored these poems:

"No Idea What's Going to Happen"
"Vulnerable and Bound"
"A Fresh Opportunity to Make a Mark"

"From Many Emotional Colors"
"The Cardinal Sin of Satanism"
"Not So Much in Words"

I will get them posted when I can.  The net is being spitty again today.

STRETCH GOAL!

The current donation amount stands at $924.  If it reaches $1000 by the end of the sale tonight (realistically, when we check email Monday morning) then I will post an extra freebie, "No Quarrel with a Boot."  That leaves $76 outstanding.

Remember that 2/3 of the open epics have closed, leaving space to open a new one if you want one of the larger epics and can't afford the whole thing.
