They're trained from the age of 5-6 never to think holistically, to isolate subjects in school and move from one separate subject to another at the ringing of a bell. But the world doesn't actually work that way. Everything is connected to everything else.
Not seen for 30 years and suspected to be extinct, the silver-backed chevrotain or Vietnamese mouse deer has been photographed in the wild. I am amused that the photos are crystal-clear with no doubt about its identity, which rarely happens with species of questionable existence.
