The 7-11 Capsule Wardrobe

The 7-11 Capsule Wardrobe is something that I spotted in Terramagne. It has 7 bottoms and 11 tops. That's enough so you only need to do laundry once a week. You also have enough tops to cycle among them, so you don't have to wear the exact same set every week.  It's meant to provide a basic wardrobe for work or extended travel, like you might get for a new job or a different climate, not necessarily a whole wardrobe. Let's explore how this might look ...

There will be a Poetry Fishbowl on Tuesday, September 3 with a theme of "Craftership." Please mark your calendars, and I hope to see you then.

Poetry in Microfunding:

There are two open epics.

"As Natural as Walking" opened and closed within the week.  It belongs to Path of the Paladins and focuses on artwork.

"Everyone Can Dance" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Shiv and has 55 new verses. Shiv learns jive dancing.

"What Survives the Whole Process" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Fortressa. Penny releases a playtesting video.

We got a little more rain here. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a small flock of mourning doves, several house finches, several sparrows, a pair of goldfinches, a pair of cardinals, probably an American redstart, and a squirrel. Currently blooming: violas, petunias, pinks, marigolds, lantana, torenia, million bells, moss rose, firecracker plant, salvia, nasturtiums, gaillardia, clover, morning glories, red yarrow, coreopsis, Queen Anne's lace, thistle, sunflowers, purple penstemon, little bluestem grass, purple sedum, pink sedum, goldenrod, hosta, and a bunch of other things. Crabapples and apples have green fruit.

Magpie Monday

[personal profile] dialecticdreamer is hosting Magpie Monday today with a theme of "Milestones." Leave prompts, get ficlets!

If I reach $75 in sponsored stories between 9 Sept and 22 Sept, the day before the Feathering the Nest prompt call, I will also post an 8,000 word story which is the sequel to “Getting Them Home.” The Teflon Tesseract needs watching, and to do that, the Finn family (and others) are pitching in to help Schrodinger’s Heroes get home. Note that priority lies with the individual prompts and producing quality stories fast, so there may be a slight delay in the bonus story’s posting.
