Emotional Intimacy Question: Strengths

Folks have mentioned an interest in questions and conversations that make them think. So I've decided to offer more of those. This is the current list.

34. What are your top three strengths? Which strengths do you look for in a friend or partner?

Among my top strengths are language, creativity, and the broadened awareness granted by farmemory.  In other people I look for intelligence (it can be various types), reliability, and a practice of "gently if possible, firmly if necessary."

Thursday Yardening

Today is mild, mostly sunny, and breezy.  It rained a little several times yesterday evening.

I fed the birds.  Out of birdseed, so I'll need to restock.

Round One, I trimmed more brush around the purple-and-white garden.

EDIT 5/30/19: Round Two, I finished trimming brush and spraying weeds around the purple-and-white garden.

EDIT 5/30/19: Round Three, I planted 2 purple sedum and 2 green-and-white hostas in the purple-and-white garden.  This completes the big project that I wanted to finish outdoors today.  I still have a couple of things left in a flat to plant, but I want pots for those.

EDIT 5/30/19: Round Four, we picked up sticks in the forest yard near the street and filled a wheelbarrow.

EDIT 5/30/19: Round Five, I planted a purple penstemon and a red yarrow in the wildflower garden, and a sweet woodruff in the cistern garden.  Then I watered the new plants.
