This is an advance announcement for the Tuesday, September 4, 2018 Poetry Fishbowl. This time the theme will be "self-discovery."
I'll be soliciting ideas for adventurers, clergy, gurus, shamen, seekers, psychedelic explorers, teachers, students, intrapersonal experts, superheroes, teenagers, other people who explore self-awareness, traveling, tripping out, meditating, counseling, studying, coming of age, troubleshooting, discovering problems, finding creative solutions, confronting deception, asking questions, exploring new techniques, discovering yourself, learning what you can do, liminal zones, the forest primeval, inner space, the subconscious, cthonic realms, higher planes, battlefields, the glory road, churches or temples, counseling centers, classrooms, hippie houses, other introspective places, personality quizzes, self-help, personal growth, different schools of therapy, enlightenment, Buddhism and other illuminating religions, genealogy, intrapersonal intelligence, existential intelligence, escape clauses, unforseen circumstances, when the whole world changes out from under you, rites of passage, superpower manifestation, therapy tools, gnosis, and poetic forms in particular.
I have a linkback poem, "A Lively Feast" (16 verses, Feathered Nests).
If you're interested, mark the date on your calendar, and please hold actual prompts until the "Poetry Fishbowl Open" post next week. (If you're not available that day, or you live in a time zone that makes it hard to reach me, you can leave advance prompts. I am now.) Meanwhile, if you want to help with promotion, please feel free to link back here or repost this on your blog.
