Emotional Intimacy Question: Positive Characteristics

Folks have mentioned an interest in questions and conversations that make them think. So I've decided to offer more of those. I'm starting with this list.

22. Alternate sharing something you consider a positive characteristic of your partner. Share a total of five items.

This one is kind of tricky to do online, and without a specific person in mind.  So do whatever works for you.  Here are some things I love about my audience in general ...

* You are incredibly generous.  I never expected to reach the $100 mark for "true fans" (my k-fans) but now I've had people drop more than that on one poem.  \o/

* You're always looking to make the world a better place.  You take things from my writing, and from each other's comments, and use them to create improvements.

* You inspire me.  A lot of my best ideas start with something you've said, either directly to me or in crosstalk with each other.

* You help create a positive atmosphere.  On the rare occasions a flamewar breaks out, someone else has usually doused it with wet sand before I even notice it.

* You're smart.  I have linguistics and molecular biologists and nuclear physicists and people from all over the world.

I squish you all so much.  :D

Today's Adventures

We went to watch Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. I have no idea why some people are complaining about this movie. It delivers exactly what it says on the tin. As shown in the trailer, the volcano blows up and it rains dinosaurs. Then the dinosaurs get loose and eat some assholes, because that always happens. Darwin Awards! Darwin Awards EVERYWHERE! Finally, the dinosaurs are saved. Yay! \o/ And BONUS: now they are spreading all over the world, which creates opportunities for more movies if we want. It was even better than I expected. The only reason to dislike this movie is if you hate dinosaurs, in which case you should know better than to watch it in the first place.

Remember, folks: Science can tell you how to clone a Tyrannosaurus rex.  Humanities can tell you why this might be a bad idea.

Thursday Yardening

Today was warm and muggy earlier, but turned mild and pleasant in the evening, except for bugs.  I watered plants, fed birds, and picked a handful of mulberries.  Barely any blackberries this year.  :/  Blackberry lilies are blooming.  One big red zinnia bloomed where I planted flower seeds in the prairie garden, but not much else is growing there.  Cup plants have buds in the prairie garden.  Yellow wildflowers are blooming in the wildflower garden.  I saw a nest of baby robins.

New verses in "A Certain Form of Humility"

Thanks to a donation from the general fund, "A Certain Form of Humility" has 5 new verses.  After healing, Johan notices something odd.

I dropped the small donation straight into the open epic with the least left to fund, because I'm hoping to finish at least one of these before more get opened, but I have a couple of outstanding commissions on bingo squares.  Another $18 and this one will be done.  :D
