Folks have mentioned an interest in questions and conversations that make them think. So I've decided to offer more of those. I'm starting with this list.

20. What does friendship mean to you?

Lots of things, but it generally includes:

* A meaningful, chosen relationship that makes both lives better.

* A mix of common ground and interesting differences.

* Being yourself, because if you have to fake it, that's not friendship; it's just people-pleasing.

* Someone you enjoy spending time with, even if you're not particularly doing anything.

This poem came out of the 2013 crowdfunding Creative Jam.  It was inspired by a prompt from wander_realtai.  It also fills the #13 Enshroud line on my Rainbowfic Moonlight list.  This poem belongs to the series Kande's Quest, which you can find via the Serial Poetry page.

This microfunded poem is being posted one verse at a time, as donations come in to cover them.  The rate is $.50/line, so $5 will reveal 10 new lines, and so forth. This poem came out of the July 3, 2018 Poetry Fishbowl. It was commissioned by stardreamer to fill the "Aggressively Festive Holiday Sweater" square in my 7-1-18 card for the Winterfest in July Bingo fest. It belongs to the Shiv thread of the Polychrome Heroics series.
