Folks have mentioned an interest in questions and conversations that make them think. So I've decided to offer more of those. I'm starting with this list.

13. If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know?

How can I, from the situation I am in or one I can get to with furnished instructions, stop the species-threat-level disaster of climate change?

Today is sunny, warm, and breezy.  I planted the last four items from the Native Plant Sale in the prairie garden: Northern dropseed, Indian grass, little bluestem, and side-oats grama.  Later I went back out to cover and water them.  I still need to put down some mulch.  But at least I'm caught up on planting!  \o/

My black iris are about to bloom.  They're still furled but showing lots of color in the buds now.  :D  Peonies have buds.  Raspberries are blooming.  Mulberries have small green fruit. 

EDIT 5-17-18: I finished mulching the newly planted grass.

I saw an indigo bunting on the hopper feeder, which currently has large mix with sunflower seeds and peanuts.  I would've thought he'd go for the thistle sock that the goldfinches have been all over, but whatever.

I got to thinking, we have all this candied ginger ...
