Poetry in Microfunding:
"Always Repay the Cost" belongs to the Antimatter & Stalwart Stan and Dr. Infanta threads of Polychrome Heroics.  When Fiddlesticks is critically injured, Stan and Lawrence do what they can to help.

"Time to See What I Can Do" belongs to the Shiv thread of Polychrome Heroics.  Luci decides to work on her pirate queen costume at Blues Moon.

The weather has been intermittently rainy, and sometimes warmer.  It's raining right now.  Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a large flock of sparrows, a large flock of mourning doves, several cardinals, some dark-eyed juncoes, and a squirrel.  It has been months since I saw a squirrel here.  :D

Half-Price Sale in Shiv

This week, the poetry in the Shiv thread of Polychrome Heroics is on sale for half price from Monday, February 19 through Sunday, February 25. This series is superhero fantasy, and the thread is urban grunge. It features themes of heroism, villainy, coming of age, diversity, identity kink, family of choice, friendship, and cultural engineering. Sale prices range from $58 to $197.50. There are two open epics at present, both in Polychrome Heroics and one in Shiv.  I'd rather not open another in Shiv, but it's an option if you're really attached.  Prices on open epics are locked at the time of opening; however, if anyone wants to donate to open epics and buy poetry, spending $100 will get you the quarter-price rate on the new poems, regardless of the rate on the open epic(s) you support.

Poetry Pool

[personal profile] ng_moonmoth wants to run a poetry pool in the half-price sale:

I'm interested enough in "Ten Minutes in the Life of a Pear" ($62.50),
"Pick Out the Best Parts" ($193), and "Beatdown" ($103) to see if
there's anyone else who'd like to pool up for the 1/4-price discount. If
you'd like to help sponsor one or more of these, please let me know what
you're up for.
