Poetry in Microfunding:
"Strength and Power" is now complete.  Rowan and Hulda take their folk band on the road.


The weather has been variable here.  There has been some freezing rain, but the worst of it missed us.  Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a large flock of sparrows, a large flock of mourning doves, several cardinals, some starlings, and some dark-eyed juncoes.  Also the hanging rope broke on the old hopper feeder, and when it hit the ground, a slat broke off the roof too.  :(  We have bought a new one, but it's not as finished as it needs to be, so I'll have to sand off the splinters before I can use it.

technoshaman sponsored the second half of "Where You Begin to Heal."  Riley gets some big news about thon's body.

A friend tipped me to this project seeking a two-spirit artist to put artwork on a wool blanket. Blankets are an important part of tribal culture, and in most tribes, made by women. Inspired Natives is aiming to promote the work of tribal artists rather than cheap knockoffs.
