Fandom Snowflake Challenge Day 15: "Love Letter"

Day 15

In your own space, write a love letter to Fandom in general, to a particular fandom, to a trope, a relationship, a character, or to your flist/circle/followers. Share your love and squee as loud as you want to. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Dear Fandom,

I love you.  I love you for being you.  I love that you love me for being me.  I love you for making places we can go where weirdness is an asset instead of a liability.  I love you for stroking my sense of wonder.

Poetry in Microfunding:
"Strength and Power" belongs to Acrostic Magery.  Rowan and Hulda form a folk band.

The weather has been cold here, and we got some snow.  Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a large flock of sparrows, a large flock of mourning doves, at least two pairs of cardinals, and several dark-eyed juncoes.

Bird Personalities

You know how sparrows will pick and peck at each other, until the weather is so frigid they're more concerned with eating than fighting?  And cardinals won't share a perch with anyone but their mate?  Meanwhile, the fly-through feeder is crammed with as many doves as will fit.  :D  It is literally wall-to-wall doves in there.  I think there must be at least six or eight of them.

Half-Price Sale in Feathered Nests

The half-price sale as SOLD OUT.  Thank you for your generosity!

This week, the poetry of Feathered Nests is on sale for half price from Monday, January 15 through Sunday, January 21. This series is sociological science fiction. It features themes of diversity, alien sex/gender dynamics, interspecies communication, family of choice, friendship, and cultural engineering. Sale prices range from $10 to $56, so hopefully there will be something for everyone. There is one open epic at present, in Polychrome Heroics, so you may open a new one if you wish. Prices on open epics are locked at the time of opening.
