This poem was written outside the regular prompt calls, in response to ng_moonmoth's idea for the "machete" square in my 10-1-17 card for the Fall Festival Bingo fest. It has been sponsored by ng_moonmoth. It belongs to the Shiv thread of the Polychrome Heroics series.

This activism project is brilliant. Cards Against Humanity bought as much land as they could afford along the Mexican border, hired a lawyer who specializes in eminent domain, and then sold off the land in tiny $15 increments so that EACH ONE would require a separate lawsuit to build a wall across.  It's also replicable; any activist group could do the same thing, and that's a loooong border.  The fight could easily take years.

 This article about Juneteenth and its commemorative statue includes a link to a petition that would make it a national holiday.
