Femslash and Intersectionality

Here's a very thoughtful essay about different forms of oppression, how they overlap, and how they may be subverted.

I do this sort of thing quite often in my own work, where you'll see great diversity of sex/gender dynamics, relationships, religions, cultural motifs, colors and body types, etc.  Sometimes what I write is specifically about those things, but often it is not; the diversity has a high degree of background parity.  I run to the same tastes in leaving prompts for other creative folks, and for picking things to browse or buy.

Bore me not with WASP everyman heroes.  I will tire of them quickly and fling them to bisexual anthropomorphic wolves who speak an invented language.

It's been rainy and cool here this week.  I've gotten a lot of herbs and flowers planted.  The poppies have buds but aren't blooming yet; the peonies are just starting to open.
