This is the rest of the story begun earlier.

Monster House Update

There are six epic poems in microfunding: "Restoration" tells how the radiator dragon came to live in Monster House.  "The Accidental Hero" follows Aldornia and Zenobia when one of Aldornia's relatives unexpectedly appears in the Temple of Golden Light.  "Stained" finds Johan, a former paladin of Gailah, in trouble in front of the last person he ever wanted to see again.  "Fiorenza and the Witch-Son" features Fiorenza the Italian herbalist musing about social roles and gender dynamics, at a time when there is NOT a major preternatural crisis going on.  "Igor's Creature" is a mix of horror and science fiction with a large helping of sociology and a wry twist of humor.  The epic poem "A Periodic Table of Elementals" is ahead of production.

Six open epics is a lot, folks -- it spreads out the attention and people's pocket money pretty far.  I'd like to see some of these finished off before opening any new ones.  "Fiorenza and the Witch-Son" is down to $11.50 outstanding, for instance.

This past week was cool and pleasant.  We got to the Farmer's Market, where we bought materials for the Golden Spaghetti Sauce and some salsas.  I finally saw my morning glories in bloom too, pink ones and purple ones in the barrel garden.
