... is estimated at 43,000 words.  I have discovered that, if I don't know a word, it is unlikely to be in the dictionary.  I like being able to search online, where I can usually find a definition somewhere.

Recently I opened a discussion about the August Poetry Fishbowl, including a poll.  I really, really want feedback on these topics so I am offering to post "An Arm and a Leg" (the next poem in the Clockwork War series) if 25 people vote in the poll.

As the giraffe sale continues, aldersprig is requesting prompts about sexuality/gender for writing microfic.  Do you have a favorite orientation or motif that rarely gets much coverage?  Ask for it!  Also, tips get your prompts more length.  This is a favorite theme of mine, and a writer whose work I enjoy, so I'm really looking forward to seeing the results.
