Wouldn't it be cool to take a bunch of these "empire" sets and put them all in the same setting?  And then give them all an alien instant transportation widget and watch them go nuts?

The following poem is my freebie for this Muse Fusion.  It's a Southern poem, and I worked up some supporting notes which appear after the poem itself, for those of you who enjoy reading background tidbits from Torn World.  (Please bear in mind that Muse Fusion material is written on the fly, and should be considered potentially canon rather than official until it passes the canon board and appears on the main site.)  It was inspired by a title prompt from Torn World user Comtessa via wyld_dandelyon.
