Recipe: "Mashed Sweet Potatoes"

Sunday's supper was country-fried steaks, mashed sweet potatoes, and banana-caramel bread pudding. Saturday's supper was more planned; this one was a matter of "Oh, right, we need to feed a bunch of people that night too ... hmm, let's see what we have in the freezer." We found the country-fried steaks and a package of sweet potato chunks. I also had part of a loaf of challah and three bananas starting to turn brown. So I came up with these two recipes.
