The comments section makes me want automatic fact-checking that slaps someone across the face every time they post propaganda in the hope of getting people to believe them through repetition.

That's a bad habit that politicians encourage ... almost all politicians, really, though some are worse than others. Current society seems to train people to make decisions based on emotions, faith, or obedience to authority rather than based on facts. It doesn't produce good results.

as a resident of massachusetts, i am pretty sure that the pressure on romney to be right about anything has come from representing this bluest of blue states. i worry that with a republican constituency (not to mention house, senate, or party) more behind him, he'll get a lot more wrong :/
