Poem: "Air Beyond Breath"

Here is the free poem, a sijo inspired by tabard:

Air Beyond Breath

– a sijo

What is the breath of life? What is the life of breath?
Before us the Earth was barren, only air before breath.
After us, we do not know, but it may become barren again.
Life inhales. Air becomes breath. Death exhales.
We are the breath while it’s held in Earth’s lungs.
We exist only in this instant, until our spirits are released into air.

Lovely... :D
I've never heard of a sijo, or of most of these forms. A fascinating thought, here!
I'm a form maven; I love these things. The sijo was new to me also. I'd heard of the abecedarian and terzanelle forms, which also popped up this month, but I can't recall ever writing them before.
