Reminds me of the story of Shao'Kehn (see icon) and Ahndahn.

Ahndahn knew something was wrong with Creation. Like many before Her, She thought it was the existence of the Heart of The Chaos. So She went to the HOTC and, like many before Her, attempted to quieten it. Most had made no headway on that at all, but it was Ahndahn who started to bring order to the chaos.

In fear for its existence, the HOTC took that order that Ahndahn had already given it, and made it into Shao'Kehn, who would defend it. From within the HOTC, burning eyes of fire and rage looked out and demanded Ahndahn stop. Ahndahn refused, so Shao'Kehn emerged from the flames of chaos to fight Her.

The two fought. They fought and they fought, tirelessly, for years on end. Over the years, Shao'Kehn learned of tactics, strategies, and other ordered approaches to battle by observing Her opponent. And Ahndahn, likewise, learned the value of surprise, creativity, and trying new and unexpected things from Her opponent.

And so it was, a decade into the battle, it had become more of a game to them, a challenge to both their wits and both their minds. The two fell in love with each other, and one day they simultaneously put down their weapons and embraced in mutual respect, admiration, and love. And with their truce, Creation found what had been wrong: balance. Balance between Chaos and Order. The balance restored, Creation began to thrive as it never had before.
That's really sweet!
Yeah, it's one of my favorite stories from Yahgahnii scripture.

I keep meaning to write down all the scripture stories into one collection. Let's just say, over the years, I've got so many in my head that it's a daunting task.
