Cold Fusion

This page describes a cold fusion process involving nickel and hydrogen, releasing a lot of heat energy.  The waste product is ... copper, a useful raw material.  The results seem to be replicable.  It would be really cool for this to pan out.  I'll keep an eye on this.

Ah. Not eager to demonstrate to those evil curious scientists. 'Cause if there's anyone in the room who's, like, you know, skeptical or anything, Tinkerbelle will die, and the sooper sekrit reactor won't work without her.

When they have one of these things running, and it's reliable enough to work even in front of people who aren't ignorant about physics, then I'll be delighted about it. Until then this sounds like a dozen other fraudster claims for cold fusion. It sounds like thousands of claims for perpetual motion too, for that matter.
