(I actually wish I knew Klingon...)
It's a challenging language to learn, but fascinating from a technical perspective. It was designed by a master linguist. Mark Okrand is one of two linguists I know where I look at certain things he's done and think, "I have no idea how to do that, or even where to look for the bottom of the ladder."
And from what I recall, you can take it as a credit course in at least one university. :)
Where English's root word is "to be", Klingon's root word is "to fight" -- but I personally translate it as "to strive; to overcome; to battle" with the subtext of ferocity. As if the species evolved in competition with multiple predator species that eat each other.
I think that's really cool. I'm also amused that they stormed heaven and killed all their gods. They make human counts of deicide look paltry in comparison.
