BP Cleanup Workers Sick

This report of sick cleanup workers is within range of the kind of problem I expected.  It's hitting faster than I anticipated, though.  I suspect the toxic dispersants make the difference between this and some other spills.  Also, I believe the sluggish and obstructive response of both the government and BP boils down to ass-covering: they think that if they delay and muddy the trail enough, it will be difficult or impossible to hold the culpable parties responsible and gain recompense for those harmed or killed.  This is almost certainly true.  The downside is that it leaves you with a large number of sick or dead human beings, which is unacceptable.
