Wisconsin Voters Launch a Recall

Wisconsin voters have filed recall papers against several Republican senators.  Apparently the voters don't feel like those representatives are actually representing them.  (That's the cool thing about democracy.  You can fire your politicans.  It's not easy, but it's possible.)  Go, go, Wisconsin!  *cheer*

Considering the trickery that I've read was involved with the voting, I am not surprised at the recall papers being filed.
What does surprise me is the fact that any politician dared to vote on something like this in such an underhanded way--surely they must have seen this coming.

I'm glad that people are pushing back. I suspect the politicians have gotten so used to functioning like a plutocracy, they sometimes forget that on paper it's still a democracy -- and those papers can occasionally deliver nasty cuts.
Paper cuts are one thing but it's quite embarrassing to have that paper rolled up and thump you on the nose and that is what I think is about to happen to those politicians.

After all, if being a "right to work" state was such a wonderful thing to be then why is Mississippi still in 50th position economically speaking?
It's always been a "right to work" state as far as I know.

Yeah, it was originally a "Right to work in chains" state.
:)
Along with a whole lot of other southern states and a whole lot of New England states that made a fortune off of blackbirding before the Civil War.
