Inspired by kelkyag's request for gargoyles, this is today's first freebie poem. No matter how much of a badass you think you are, somewhere out there is a predator who considers you defenseless prey.

then the cops probably put the intended victim in the drunk tank or file for an involuntary commitment, because zie is obviously hallucinating.
At least until someone considered to be reliable catches it on video. Then all hell breaks loose.

Plus, I love gargoyles.
The repeats particularly work with the subject - it is as though they are sweeping through the air in arcs while you recite the poem.
