PenUltimate Productions Website Update 12-23-10

These are the most recent updates:

* Added a review of Composing Magic by ideealisme to the "Reviews" page.

* Created an "Economics" page under the "Crowdfunding" tab.  It covers the "1,000 True Fans" theory, the "Long Tail" theory, and various services for online money handling.  I was particularly pleased to find some multicultural photos to illustrate this page; I want my website to be inclusive, and it's not easy finding such photos.</span>

Wow, the site is really growing. I like the crowdfunding section in particular!
I'm glad you find the website appealing. The feedback is especially valuable in the beginning, so I'll know that my goals of usefulness and legibility are being met.

There are at least a couple other sections that I want to add to the "Crowdfunding" tab. One will cover recognition, listing awards that do or don't accept crowdfunded projects. (Most don't, but a few do; and we have one of our own, the Rose & Bay.) The other will list my own crowdfunded proejcts, such as the Poetry Fishbowl. Some of the existing sections may be expanded over time, as well.

Cool!

One thing I have noticed is that there are no photo credits. Unless you took them yourself, you'll want to credit the person who did. Even if they are under a Creative Commons License you should credit the original photographer. And if they are not CC, you'll want to find ones that are and use them instead.
>>One thing I have noticed is that there are no photo credits.<<

Scroll down all the way to the bottom of the page, where the parchment turns to woodgrain. The photo credits are listed there, automatically, by the Weebly buildware. Regrettably the function to upload files from my own computer crashes when I try to use it. So the only images I can use are the ones that appear using the search function, which accesses Creative Commons images from Flickr.
Ah! I am used to seeing the credit below the photo itself, and thus missed them.

I'm glad that there is an automated feature that works for you!
