Guest Post on Fiction vs. Poetry

My guest post "For Better or Verse: Writing Short Fiction and Poetry" is now online, courtesy of jongibbs who did a lovely job with the layout.  He regularly blogs about writing, and you've seen me link some of his goodies here.  This is one of my guest posts for the poetry books' launch period.

Amusingly, the first comment remarks on my hair.  You can see some of it loose in the author photos I sent.  I couldn't resist sharing the rest of it, so I've uploaded a couple other photos from the same shoot.  These were taken by my partner Doug (as are the ones in the books).  I also posted them in my LJ scrapbook; there is now a gallery for pictures of me.

It's so great to see you in person ^_^

Happy to be of service. It's nice to get to know people.
That is hair that I would like to have some day. And it is really nice to see what you look like. And that is a lovely dress.
I don't often post pictures of myself, partly because we don't take many but also because too many photos online can attract creepy guys. But I share author photos sometimes. I'm lucky that my partner is a talented photographer.
now i am tempted to get little bangs :) you look awesome!
I like the style. It would probably work for you too. That way there's a little fluff left when I have my hair pulled back and braided, as I usually wear it.
