One of these in particular caught my attention:
£10 short story, epillion (shortish but long narrative poem, or several poems on a theme), extended larp fic.
So far, I have written single poems, and I've written a few batches where one idea led to several related poems. I haven't tried to write a set of matching poems on purpose before. Nobody has spontaneously asked for that in a prompt, either. I could do it -- not with every topic, as the plot-concept has to support that much development -- but with a fair range of stuff. Another option would be for someone to pick a single poem that seems to have further potential, and ask for a set of poems expanding it. (This would be similar to something that has already happened: I've been asked for sequels more than once, and written them, as in "Eviction, Noticed" followed by "Home Shriek Home.") My ability to estimate length is, shall we say, erratic; but poetry has the advantage of forms. If you want a set of four villanelles, each of them will have 19 lines. A matched set of poems could be very handy for someone who wants to support the portrayal of a particular motif in literature.
What do you think? Does purposely batch-written poetry have some potential?
