I also need to work out how to remember to take part in the actuall fishbowls. I put the last one in my google calendar which is also on my iPhone but *still* missed it and did not read it until a few days later. I know it would make life harder for you but sometimes wish I could put prompts to you before the fishbowl actually starts (e.g. when you pre-ammounce it). The damned MonSter ate my branes!

Thoughts

I'm okay with one or two early prompts if people can't be online that day. More than that would get hectic for me, yes.

Reminders need to be in a place you see daily, or else the kind that jump up and grab your attention. I think there are calendar services that will send you email, or make noise on your phone/computer, etc. when it is time to attend to something. You might try that, if you haven't already.

Re: Thoughts

Oh yeah, my phone, mac and watch all pop up windows and/or ring alarms but I have yet to find anything that will cope versus my damned MonSter-eaten time-sense/time-dilation that says, "yup, I'll just finish reading this email and then do that things the reminder tells me to do (like take my meds)," and then, three/five hours/days later (which usually feels like a few seconds to me) I realise that I did not do whatever-it-was and that it is now too late. Not your fault and something I have been trying to learn to deal with for years now (that feel like about a week, of course)…
