We have friends coming over, so I expect to have less time online than usual. (Staying home makes it easier to avoid pranks, which I never have a high tolerance for, and less on a special day.) Also I don't feel compelled to do anything in particular, so I'm likely to do whatever strikes my fancy, which means I don't really know what I'll wind up doing all day. If I'm not around as much as usual, that's why. It's my way of relaxing. I might wind up browsing LJ communities. I might wind up reading a book. I might wind up watching DVDs.
The sushi is a given, though. That's a present from a friend who makes sushi and knows I love it. Well, sudoshi, my Freesian characters would call it, since it's made with smoked fish rather than raw. We can't easily get raw fish here. But let me tell you, orange-smoked salmon with mandarin orange slices and cream cheese competes effectively against restaurant sushi. The rest of the request-supper is Scarborough Fair Roast, steamed artichokes, and one of my favorite fancy jello recipes that has cinnamon and applesauce in it.
